@Tyranexx , I'm grateful you enjoyed the video link, the key points are;
Elma's background would have been better explained in the original plot, perhaps she would have been a 'Fiora' type character, the lone hero being similar to Shulk.

New Tokyo, would have suited the plot much better, it is weird that they cut Reina Sakaraba, but her company is still in the game.

The skell for the Black knight looks amazing, it would have made for such a satisfying boss fight.

The race that Celica belonged to needed much more explained in game, as one of my favourite characters, she needed more content.

Overall Xenoblade X proves Monolith soft can make ambitious game on a under powered console, with a relatively low budget, the whole industry needs to learn from their creativity and excellent game design.

Xeno series = max hype.

@xenobladexfan Yep, I would've liked more details on Elma in the main game. She was kind of an enigma that we didn't know much about, though her big reveal was a step in the right direction. The most out of left field moment for me was when we discover everyone, including the player, is a mimeosome.

New Tokyo would have made a cool setting, maybe even another city if other arks had made it. Reina would have been a neat character I think. The Black Knight is who I think the game could use the most. Celica's race and even some of the other xenos could have used more background IMO.

Monolith is very good at what they do. I trust them to the point that I will buy a game directly from them without hesitation.

@Tyranexx, I don't know if you finished Xenoblade X, so the next topic will be a spoiler:

Some fans actually think Elma is related to KOS-MOS.

If you look online there are multiple fan theories about this, even in the latest Monolith soft 25th anniversary video, they showed Elma and KOS-MOS appearing at the same time; I was shocked when I finished Xenoblade X, to learn that Elma's true form looks identical to KOS-MOS.

Monolith softs games rock! I wish all of them could be ported to the Switch/Switch 2.
Best studio in gaming in my opinion.

@xenobladexfan I did finish XCX and have heard/seen the KOS-MOS comparisons. I quite like the nod even if my first exposure to that character was through her being a Blade in XC2. I've not played the Xenosaga games so know pretty much nothing about the character outside of her Xenoblade cameos.

@xenobladexfan There are definitely some similarities there between some of the themes in Xenoblade and Xenosaga. I'd love if the latter series would jump to the Switch or a more modern platform sometime. Can't say I'm too confident unfortunately. For the time, that video's production values were very good.

@Tyranexx , I know it is amazing sometimes how excellent the quality of games were in the 6-7 generation of video game consoles, I would happily buy the trilogy if ported to switch.
Xenoblade X is literally another iteration of Xenosaga.

@xenobladexfan Xenosagablade X? Xenoblade Saga?

I mean all of the Xeno games are iterations of the same thing. Xenosaga is an iteration of Xenogears. Xenoblade is an iteration of both Gears and Saga. X is nothing really special there. Especially in regards to where the mainline Blade games are heading, hinting at Klaus' world basically being the same earth that disappeared in Saga.
