Review Splatoon 3 (Switch) - The Pinnacle Of The Series And Switch's Slickest Shooter
Peak squid performance
When the original Splatoon launched on the Wii U back in 2015, it was pretty groundbreaking. Nintendo making an online shooter? It sounded like a recipe for confusion, but as they so often do, Nintendo took a formula that had been refined to the point of parody and decided that it would be fun to be able to swim in bullets...

Nearly five years after the release of Splatoon 2’s Octo Expansion, Agent Eight’s story continues in the drab and colourless world of the Memverse, but is it...

The third full Nintendo Direct of 2023 has come and gone. The September 2023 presentation might have lacked the tentpole megaton announcements some fans were waiting for, but it was a slow-burn showcase with some huge news for the Nintendo faithful (Thousand-Year Door remake? A new-ish F-Zero?!)...

Update: Fresh Season 2024 stages added
Turf War battles in Splatoon 3 take some practice (trust us, based on our first few weeks of play, we know this to be true). Hands On Splatoon 3's Spicy 'Side Order' DLC Isn't For The Faint Of Heart
Order from chaos
Online multiplayer, platforming, deckbuilding, horde rushes, bizarre missions that barely make sense even in context — it seems the wizards at Nintendo could put the Inklings and Octolings through just about anything and make it a blast. Now it’s time for the cephalopodic denizens of post-apocalyptic Earth to tackle the...

Hands On Splatoon 3 Brings New Ideas, But Nothing Revolutionary
Ink, splat, swim, repeat
Recently we were tickled pink to be invited by Nintendo to have a go at Splatoon 3, and as you might expect we accepted the offer. We got to play for about an hour or so, running through a few of the single-player levels, two rounds of Turf War, and three rounds of the new and improved version of Salmon Run — but how did...
About The Game
Enter the Splatlands, a sun-scorched desert inhabited by battle-hardened Inklings and Octolings. Splatsville, the city of chaos, is the adrenaline-fueled heart of this dusty wasteland.
Even in this desolate environment, Turf War* reigns supreme and battles rage in new stages located in the surrounding wilds. Dynamic new moves help these fighters dodge attacks and cover more ground, along with a new bow-shaped weapon to sling ink.
Join Agent 3 in a fight against the unruly Octarians in story mode. Discover the secrets of Alterna, the Fuzzy Ooze, and how they connect to the mode's theme, "Return of the Mammalians.”
Team up and fend off waves of dangerous Salmonid bosses in the next iteration of Salmon Run*, a co-op mode with fresh new features.

the wait startsssss now. (12.05 PM, 18th Feb)
I'm excited for this game even though we don't know much about it.
Hope splatoon 3 improves online connectivity issues, cheaters/hackers, and the obvious lack of online features such as modern voice chat. What i hope they add to splatoon 3 to give it a different feel would be some sort of battle royale mode. I feel a battle royale mode would fit in extremely well to the theme of chaos and I've thought it would be a fun idea for some time. Some other ideas are having a more explorable hub and an open world mode, (maybe the campaign would be open world) somewhat like destiny or other games. About the idea of a explorable hub this has always been a dream, in the first and second game i've always felt really underwhelmed with the amount of things i can do in the hub. Maybe certain clothing stores for higher levels or NPCs you can interact with and maybe do missions for, maybe getting certain special items for side quests in the hub creating a certain progression not felt during the first two games. For a lot of times the only reason why I leveled up is to unlock slightly better versions of guns I already had. Out of the ideas about new mechanics I mentioned I feel that a improved hub would be the most realistic and in my opinion a concept that would enrich progression in the game.
Sounds interesting. Keeping my eyes on this one.
@Ronwantread well it’s out now
I've been put through the progressive amounts of stress every season of the game while trying to get the initial Lv. 100 of each season's catalog. From the opponents I played against putting my team in the most brutal metaphorical choke hold not allowing me or my teammates to push back(and being betrayed(on a seldom bias)by my own teammates by having them fraternizing with the opposing team in a cephalopod party and I get splatted if I try to interfere(though I've been able to work around this insubordination by ignoring them and inking other areas along with getting splats on the opponents if way too caught up in what they are doing(like drawing willies on the map(I am not kidding this actually happened and my team won with a landslide victory though I did most of the work)then flopping on them not giving a crap whose there)with no punishers nearby to take me out)). I'll be at peace(for the most part)once the new content has stopped.
How can u make splatoon 2 and dubbed the fun?
This game did that
It’s even better then splatoon 2
I’m still learning the basics xD
Thank you, Splatoon 3, for stealing 500+ hours of my life--it's worth it! This game is so fun, I honestly cannot wait for Side Order next season! If you read the review on this game and it doesn't convince you, I hope this comment does, because this game is just **Chef's Kiss.** There are no words for it. It is fun, bright, colorful, and somehow also edgy, deep, and over-the-top in every facet! I honestly cannot praise it enough, and I only wish I had preordered it instead of waiting a week to get it!
My ingame name is Party!!! and I just want to have a good time. Turf war? DON'T WANT A BAR OF IT. Salmon run? Sure, but a squid party at the end. No more competition in the game please. Good vibes only. SQUID PARTY PEOPLEZ!!!
Also, if you splat a squid party while I'm around, you'll see a side of me that you DO NOT want to see. Have a nice day!
P.s. on hagglefish market, you'll probably see octolings having a good time there. It's because of the BOXIEs. If you see one playing around with them, just join them or leave them alone.
Well…with all the Seasonal Catalogs(from Drizzle Season 2022 to Sizzle Season 2024)having Lv 100 reached, I am finally free from Splatoon 3. Once I participate in the Grand Festival, I can treat the game as a side hustle and enjoy other games.
