Random: Blimey, This 3D Printed Hyrule Model From Zelda: LTTP Is Massive

I once considered doing something like this but using Lego. But didn't go through with it. Awesome build.

The rest of the map looks fantastic, but this is not how the castle look in LttP

The bathtub doesn't make the bathroom 8 1/2 by 8 1/2, the bathroom IS 8 1/2 by 8 1/2! The Tub is then inside that space!

It is an impressive model! It does make me realize how small the game world was though. Nintendo was clever making it feel bigger than it really was, by for example forcing you to take the long way around at times. But seeing it as a model makes you realize… if those houses in Kakariko are approximately the same size as my house… then this entire game world is about as wide as the distance from my house to the end of the street… lol, it would take like five minutes to walk across.

I watched the video. It's his own personal take on Hyrule. Just hope a lot of people don't make a Dark World, complete with landmarks like the Village of Outcasts, Turtle Rock, Ganon's Tower, and even the Pyramid of Power, where Ganon housed the Triforce.

Good video. The water being done was fascinating. The only issue was the way he placed buildings in middle, I know he said it was his hyrule so that was creative part, but they are so haphazardly placed. Still, very impressive.
@BoFiS The base about a week or so, the printing over a month, then it would have been the details, painting, gluing together etc. So, all told, about 6 weeks odd

Amazing, logged on for the first time in a long time just to leave this comment. Favorite game of all time and this project is so cool. Really enjoyed watching this video. My only criticism (more of a wish) is that he had made the Lost Woods more of a focus with the Master Sword. As a kid, getting the Master Sword was such an incredible moment in this game.

What does he do with it after he’s done filming? I’m guessing dismantled and thrown away?
