They should've added Splatoon 3 to the list as an online heavy game.

That's really not a good deal at all? "Pay $60 and get a $2.50 value!" is nothing. In fact even just the gold points for buying one of the games would cover half the cost of a month's subscription by itself.

My, what a tantalising deal. Charge money for what was previously free and then advertise it as some kind of value proposition. Get the hell out of here, Nintendo. 🙄

@Lizuka : Plus, they're "free trials", not even considered an actual subscription, so it locks you out of redeeming platinum coins for icon pieces, bonus Smash/Animal Crossing DLC, purchasing NES/SNES/N64 controllers etc.

What's worse is that this sets a precedent for other features that Nintendo might lock customers out of utilising unless they subscribe to their crappy "service".

We actually get something???

Oh gee a 2 week trial of a subpar service that should be free. Your generosity knows no bounds, especially considering trials are just casting out hooks hoping to catch the fish that forget to turn renewal off.
