Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl on Switch take players back to the Sinnoh region first seen on Nintendo DS in 2006. This region is also the setting for the prequel adventure Pokémon Legends: Arceus, so these Generation 4 remakes are a great introduction to the Sinnoh Pokédex for new players.
If you've got any questions about how to catch certain Pokémon, or you're having trouble knowing what to do next in the game, or perhaps need help to win a particularly challenging Pokémon battle, you should check out our Pokémon Diamond and Pearl guides below.

Do we know if there will be an official printed guide? I collect them.
Hows the frame rate? Is it jerky like sword/shield?
@Crono1973 doesn't look like they will make a guide for it. you can prob use the old one from the past for the main story. there can't be that much post game/new stuff in the remake tho
@xshinox Ok thanks.
Having mostly played Platinum as a kid, I think I know Sinnoh like the back of my hand, so it shouldn't be too much trouble.
I played for an hour yesterday morning, and I've not played again about 30 hours later. It's not that it's a truly awful remake. It's not unplayable or anything. It's that Platinum or even DP are still better games, IMO. I'd rather fire up my DS than put up with a poor remake.
There's even less moves than there was back in Gen 4 from what I heard. Also there's nothing really different between the remakes and the originals. No Battle Frontier, Distortion World and many other additions from Platinum. Mandatory EXP Share, following pokemon still act similar to SW/SH and don't even have an animation for walking they mostly just stay in their usual battle stance and slide around for most of them.
