Over the moon
Konami's Castlevania has changed directions in recent years, with the Lords of Shadow titles polarizing fans of the long-running series. That's why fans of the "Metroidvania" outings should flock to the Wii U eShop and download the Game Boy Advance Castlevania titles, which feature the series' signature exploration-based, semi-linear...

Poll Box Art Brawl: Duel - Castlevania: Circle Of The Moon
A grave encounter
Hello folks, and welcome to another edition of Box Art Brawl! In last week's edition, Metroid Prime - one of the greatest console games of all time - entered the ring. As we'd predicted, it was a pretty close battle, but Japan's more action-packed (if you can call it that) design just managed to beat out North America and Europe's...

Listen to them - children of the night. What music they make!
Konami's Castlevania series isn't just famous for its tight gameplay, sprawling fortresses and inventive boss battles – it's also a series with some of the best music in the history of video games, and while Konami doesn't seem to have plans for any new entries right now (that's a...

News Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow to Complete GBA Trilogy on Wii U Virtual Console
Scarily good
The Game Boy Advance enjoyed a terrific trilogy of 2D Castlevania titles — as did its successor, the DS — which set impressive standards for portable entries in the franchise. With GBA games on the Wii U, the prospect of playing them on the GamePad — or the TV if you like enormous pixels — must have come to the minds of Konami...

News Koji Igarashi, Best Known for the Castlevania Series, Departs from Konami
"I've decided to break out on my own"
It's possible that gamers relatively fresh to Nintendo hardware won't know much of Koji Igarashi's work, but Castlevania fans that enjoyed the terrific series entries on the Game Boy Advance and DS — in particular — may mourn the formal passing of an era today, even if it's been on the cards for a...

Lol, I feel like I've just entered a lost dimension. Hey there uel. Castlevania: Circle of the Moon is the only Castlevania I've ever played. I never beat it though.
SotN is the only Metroidvania I completed, and as Circle of the Moon is the next in line it would be nice with a review to find out if it´s any good! NL, wouldn't you help the three of us out?
It's good. I played both SotN and Circle of the Moon. While SotN is better, Circle is still very worth playing.
This one was the lamest of the gba castlevanias: slower and clunkier controls, small sprites and drab look at times, the map design and exploring is not even close to what the following titles have. But still a pretty good game! I'm expecting a 7/10 for the wii u vc version
The later gba castlevanias started the triumph that was the ds castlevanias, which rock everyone's socks.
Circle of the moon is good from what ik but then again the only castlevania games I ever played is lament of innocence and curse of darkness and nvr completed either of them.
The worst of the trinity of GBA Castlevanias. Unremarkable visuals, extraordinarily unresponsive controls and terrible item placement. I give it a 6/10.
@SethBlizzard: Completely disagree, this is the best of the 3 GBA Castlevania games. 9/10.
@Ryno is right. Classic Castlevania action here.
@SethBlizzard
you dont...really mean that. i understand you just want to be different.
embrace the circle of the moon and do not be afraid of the night.
become one with the night.
