In fairness, that’s because there aren’t too many of them in general, but whereas other systems have their Forza Horizons, Need For Speeds and The Crews, the Switch is almost entirely bereft of free-roaming driving. That...

2021 sure is going fast, and now that it's May, it means E3 is just around the corner. News Sony Survey Reportedly Asking Fans If They've Heard Of The Burnout Series
Is it time for Criterion's smash hit racing series to return?
Before Criterion Games signed on with EA to work on the Need for Speed series, it was known for its Burnout series. The 2008 open-world game Burnout Paradise was the last major entry we saw on console platforms, and since then, there's been nothing but a remaster of the same game - which...
News EA Has Quietly Reduced Burnout Paradise Remastered's Price On Switch
Now available at a 40% reduction
We had a lot of fun with EA's Burnout Paradise Remastered last year. Awarding it 7/10 stars, it still offers a solid open-world racing game but – outside of some handheld mode issues – one of our biggest gripes with this Switch port was the high price. Charging £44.99 / $49.99 for a 12-year-old game seemed...
"If it’s not 60 FPS, it’s not Burnout"
When word broke that 2008's Burnout Paradise would be returning to consoles in remastered form, Switch owners got nervous when there was no mention of Criterion's seminal open-world racer releasing on Nintendo's platform. It took nearly two years, but a Switch port did eventually materialise and we've been...

I’m waiting to see if they are going to destroy the experience on the Switch like they did on PC, online Origin account required, online activations, internet connection, etc. If they do... they can keep it! It’s currently $5 on PC and on Switch it will be $50, better not be full of the same crap at that price!
@stevep Thanks a lot for the heads up! My kids have been looking out for this one for a while. Will validate before/if I purchase it for them.
