Topic: Baking soda in vents: Is my Switch hosed?

So here's the deal: I accidentally got baking soda in the top vents of my Switch(as for how and why, I'd like to keep private) and I'm not sure if it's something I have to worry about. If this extremely specific situation has happened to anyone else, please don't hesitate to spare some insight.

(EDIT: I went ahead with the compressed air thing and thankfully everything is working fine)

You could just try blowing it out with a can of compressed air, suitable for electronics. Just remember to shake the can before use and always hold it upright. If you have to, turn the Switch, not the can.
If you know someone, who has an air compressor – that should work as well. If your switch does not work anymore, Nintendo's customer service might be able to help you. Good luck!

The baking soda might attract water, which could cause corrosion/electrical shorting and thereby damage your Switch. That's just a hypothesis, though. You might as well be fine.

I'd be more concerned about it getting into the fan. There's only a very short gap between it and the top vent, and any foreign matter that gets that far is probably going to make it very noisy, if not gum it up entirely.

If it was more than a light dusting, just blowing at it from the outside might push it further in. It might be better to take the case off so you can inspect it properly as well as get a better angle for cleaning.

No, but it is baked

Well for one I never have my switch in the same room as baking stuff.

It’s harmless unless it’s gunking up any moving parts, but not a harmful dust to electrical

Just don't turn it back on. That's probably the worst thing you could do. I second the compressed air idea.
