WOW! 'This is gonna be the first time assasin made it to nintendo! amazing. looking forward on a trailer soon. hopefully gonna be better than assasins creed bloodlines for psp. that one is short too

Woo-hoo! I haven't played the DS Assassin's Creeds but I've beaten the console ones (minus Brotherhood)

@1 There was 2 Assassin's Creeds on DS before this: Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles and Assassin's Creed 2: Discovery.

@meizme: Yeah, I agree. The iPod version is fun, but It's a little 99c game. I have a feeling this game will be pretty good. Considering I love Assassins Creed games.

Darn it! Why the cancel?

This game got cancelled because as they were in the process of making it, the ideas were ported over to Revelations. Thus, AC:R was made and AC:LL was lost in the wind.

WICKED!!! theres a assasins creed for the 3ds but i bet its not as good as the ps3 and xbox 360 version OH well at least theres a game coming out!

@wildebeast147 Like what @kyuubikid213, another reason in my opinion was that the game was announced at E3 but after the poor sales reception the 3DS first got, Ubisoft cancelled it.

Really don't understand why this was cancelled, considering that they released Assassins Creed 3 Liberation for Vita, which obviously hasn't sold as well as the 3DS...so the 'initially low 3DS sales' arguement really doesn't hold water.

Hopefully they'll make a 3DS Assassins Creed in the future.

I'd only be guessing, but i think it was because the developers found out how underpowered the 3ds was and couldn't make the game that was expected. Same with Saints Row 3ds. Im guessing we will never see a third person view GTA game on the 3ds for the same reason. I seriously hope to be proven wrong though.

This isn't the first. Assassin's Creed: Altar's Chronicles was for the DS.

Anyway...

NO THEY CAN'T CANCEL ASSASSIN'S CREED FOR 3DS!! Well, I hope the next Assassin's Creed they make in the far future will be for 3DS.

Probably one of the worst moves yet. 3DS' fanbase is growing and Ubisoft could make lots of money from it. Oh well......Theres still AC3 on the Wii U.

Hopefully games w/ lots of comments that are cancelled aren't "hot games." But Ubisoft, if you guys revive this...see how much we want this. Just revive it, you'll make way more $ than ACIII: Liberation did.

Calm down about this being cancelled. Ubisoft still made the game, just not on the 3DS. If you have a PS3, 360, or PC, you can still play it, because the ideas from this game were carried over to the larger-scale Assassin's Creed Revelations.
