Review A Kappa's Trail (DSiWare)
A trail you may want to follow
A Kappa’s Trail is a bizarre game: you play as a little turtle/fish/sea creature and your objective is to escape the depths of the ocean to reach the land of the humans, but it’s a clever idea, and plays great in many areas where other DSiWare games seem to do the opposite. It’s a really neat and tidy game with...

My little water demon
In case you don't know what a kappa is (and we certainly didn't until we first heard of this game), know that it is a mischievous water sprite from Japanese mythology prone to eating small children (and cucumbers – hence the "kappa maki" found in Japanese sushi restaurants); now residing on the DSi. Well we do have Golduck as Kappa-like.
A good game with a cute character should not be held back due to the obscure origins of the character. Every new game has an unfamilar character, what makes this different?
I purchased this game recently and must say, it's one of the best games I have encountered for the DS. So many different things to do and the main game play is just a blast!! Favorite DSiware purchase so far.
URGH WHY DO ALL THE GAMES I WANT ALWAYS SAY To Be Announced (UK/EU) ?! WHEN?! IT WON'T SAY WHEN!! Argh, this game looks so darn cute and I want it. I want it so badly. TT_TT.
This is an awesome DSiWare game and those are few and far between. Pick this one up if you like challenges, puzzles, adventure, great music and graphics. Still one of my favorites over a year later...
Why isn't this out in the UK yet? One of my daughter's faves on my Japanese DSi XL; I'm giving her a UK DSi for Hanukah and I can't gift it to her ;-(
To say this is by Nintendo and Brownie Brown, I'm gutted this isn't available in the UK and Europe. I want it badly.
